Established in 2023, the Gaston County Football Club Women's Rugby Team is an exciting addition to the thriving rugby community in Gaston County. We are proud to join our existing men's team in representing the strength, passion, and determination of our region on the rugby pitch. Our team is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for women of all skill levels who are interested in playing rugby, learning the sport, and becoming part of a vibrant and empowering community.

At Gaston County Football Club Women's Rugby Team, our mission is to:

• Inspire women of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels to develop a love for rugby and enjoy the many physical and social benefits that the sport offers.

• Provide a supportive and inclusive space for women to learn, grow, and compete together in a safe and respectful environment.

• Foster a strong sense of camaraderie, teamwork, and sportsmanship among our members, supporters, and the broader rugby community.

• Represent Gaston County proudly in regional, national, and international competitions, showcasing our commitment to excellence both on and off the field.

Whether you are an experienced rugby player looking for a new team to call home or a complete beginner interested in trying a new sport, we welcome you with open arms! Our coaching staff and team members are passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience with newcomers and helping everyone improve their skills and grow as players.

We offer regular training sessions, friendly matches, and competitive fixtures, ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to get involved and enjoy the game.
