Gaston County Rugby Football Club Welcomes Women's Team: The Hell Hounds


The Gaston County Rugby Football Club (GCRFC) is thrilled to announce the addition of a women's rugby team! This exciting development is part of our ongoing commitment to spread the love and appreciation for the sport of rugby throughout the Gaston County community.


Introducing the Gaston County Hell Hounds, our fierce and tenacious women's team mascot, which embodies the relentless spirit and determination that we hope to see in our players. Hell Hounds, legendary creatures known for their unwavering pursuit and incredible speed, are a fitting representation of the tenacity and strength we expect from the women of Gaston County. The Gaston County Hell Hounds will kick off their inaugural season in August 2023. Women of all skill levels, aged 18 and older, are encouraged to join in and be part of this exciting new chapter in the history of Gaston County Rugby Football Club. Whether you are a seasoned player or a newcomer to the sport, there's a place for you on the team.


As we look to the future, we eagerly anticipate the continued success of the Gaston County Rugby Club and the growth of the sport in our community.
